Galaxy had both dark sweet and Rainier cherries from the Northwest on ad---This store had NONE ON DISPLAY. I spoke with the produce manager and he said this had been touch and go for a week or so, but hoped some would be on his produce store the next morning. Very disappointing not to see NW Cherries in several stores today. Peaches from SC and California peaches were on sale. The SC peaches were a pretty good size, but the California peaches were pitiful, small, etc. I think they must have had these left over. Plums and nectarines were also in the ad, and both were medium size at best. I saw that apricots were also in the ad, but none were on display. I think the store was playing it close and waiting on the next day truck as well for this item. Blueberries from California surprised me, because most of the competition are in eastern blueberries. They were in the ad and priced at 2 pints for $6.00. Strawberries from California looked pretty good, with medium size. Grapes were from Mexico and medium in size. The white grapes were priced 30 cents per lb higher than the red seedless grapes.
