Red cherries were on last legs, but the rainier cherries looked pretty nice.  I was surprised that the rainiers were price at $5.99, a $1.00 less per lb.  This store like most I have visited this week are cutting back space big time on cherries.  For the first time all season I am sure it is time it is time to move on and not leave a bad taste in the retailers mouth, because up to this week cherries every where have been wonderful and stores were moving inventory quickly.  Most stores are starting to do a fall reset of their departments.  Store like many of its competitors are pushing SC peaches.  Like everywhere else  the quality this year is superior to anything else out of California.  These had a separate display and then  more was displayed with the California nectarines and plums.  This store had both red & black plums.  No California peaches were in this store,  Strawberries from California and Blueberries from Canada were also in the ad.  Both were in 1 lb clams.  They were priced at 2/$6.00.  They also had 2 lb clams of strawberries at $3.99.  Raspberries were displayed with them in 6 ounce clams at $4.99.  Store had a nice display of seedless grapes--black, red, white--all priced same at $2.49 lb.
