I was very disappointed to see Canadian Cherries in the Publix store I visited.  These were the first of these I have seen.  They were no way they even compared to the Norhtwest cherries that I saw in stores this week.  Displays were full which told me they were not selling.  This store also had blueberries from Canada.  They were in the ad along with strawberries from California at 3/$7.00.   Both were in 1 lb clams.  Strawberries were fair at best with many containers having dark red medium size berries.  They almost looked like jam berries. Raspberries from California was of better quality.  Price was 3 for $10.00 in 6 ounce clams.   Stone fruit was another story.  All stone fruit was from California with great color and large in size.  They were also priced at some of the lowest California prices I have seen in most of my store visits for stone fruit.  Peaches, plums, and nectarines were in the ad.  Store had no Eastern peaches.  Grapes were also from California.  Quality was outstanding as well as size.  Both red seedless and green seedless were in the ad  at $1.99 lb.
