Comments

Northwest cherries were in the ad.  Quality was outstanding with firm fruit and bright green stems.  They had a place for Rainier cherries at $4.99 lb  but the space was empty.  Store was also promoting SC peaches which were actually better than the California fruit.  They also had California peaches which were priced at $1.99 lb and $1.00 more per lb than the SC peaches.  All the stone fruit was displayed together on the 1st table on the front side of the table.  This consisted of SC peaches and California peaches,  nectarines, and plums.  In addition to yellow flesh peaches from California this store also had white flesh peaches and white flesh nectarines.  Strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries were displayed together on  a table in the middle of the department. The strawberries and blueberries were in 1 lb clams while the raspberries and blackberries were in 6 ounce clams.  Blueberries were in the ad for 2/$4.00.  Grapes were from California and first I have seen this year from there.  Quality and size much better than from Mexico.  Both red and white seedless were priced the same.  Both were in the ad.
