Lowes had both dark sweet and Rainier NW cherries on ad.  The Rainiers were priced at $4.99 lb.  Lowes was also in the middle of a display contest and this store had a super nice display with pos material and other tie ins.  This display was located right in the front of the department.  This store had South Carolina peaches only, no California.  They were priced at $1.79 per lb and were super nice high quality peaches.  They were displayed up front with a big "local" sign.  The other stone fruit were all from California and displayed together  on the back side of the front table. They were plums, nectarines and apricots.  All were very high quality with the exception of apricots.  Strawberries and blueberries were displayed together on the back side of front table along with raspberries. Raspberries were in 6 ounce clams.  Blueberries were in the ad.  Grapes were from Mexico.  Both red and white seedless were priced at the same retail.  They had better size than most other retailers, not large but a big medium size grape.
