Beautiful Northwest Cherry ad in the flyer. Quality was outstanding as well. The NW Cherries were displayed in 2 different locations. One was just as you entered the door and just before the produce department. It was the 1st thing you saw. This store also had NW Rainier cherries as well and priced at $5.49 lb. There were also some 1 lb clams of specialty NW cherries as well at $5.49 lb. This store also had SC peaches played up big in the ad at 69 cents per lb. The size was not as big as the California peaches which were also in the store, but color was good. The California peaches were price $2.99 lb--almost $2.30 lb more, so what do you think the customers were buying? All the stone fruit was displayed together on the 2nd table in the front of the department. All the berries were displayed on the back side of the front table. This consisted of Strawberries and blueberries in 1 lb containers and raspberries in 6 ounce clams. They also had local blueberries in 3 lb tubs as well. There were no discounts for the bigger containers. Blueberries were $3.69 for 1 lb clam, Strawberries were 3/$10 in 1 lb clams, and raspberries were 2 6 once clams for $5.00. The grapes were from Mexico and red and white seedless were priced the same. Size as in other stores was medium.
