Publix had 3 displays of NW Cherries in the department.  One at entrance of department, an end cap in the produce department, and the regular shelf space.  Dark red were advertised at $2.49 Lb  along with Rainiers at $3.99 lb.  This store also had strawberry NW Cherries displayed in a 1 lb clam.  This store had no Southern peaches.  All stone fruit was from California and displayed on front table, all bulk.  The tree ripened peaches and nectarines were advertised and quality was simply outstanding.  Size and color was 2nd to none.  They were displayed with apricots and plums as well.  The grapes were from Mexico.  Great quality and color, medium size.  All were priced the same.  Berries were also in the ad and displayed together.  All were from California as well.  The blueberries were priced at 3 pints for $7.00, while the raspberries (6 ounce clam) and 1 pint strawberries were price at 3/$10.00
