This store had a beautiful display of Northwest Cherries.  Color, size, and quality were absolutely excellent!!  They were displayed in 2 locations, one on entry to the produce department and the other on the back side of the first table.  This store also had Rainier cherries as well and quality was fantastic.  They were priced at $5.99 lb.  This store as well as most of the competition was pushing watermeons (22) lbs at $2.99 each.  Both cherries and watermelons were on the front page of the ad.  Blueberries from NC and strawberries from California were displayed on front table as well.  Peaches from South Carolina were also a big item in the ad at a very low price.  The size was medium to small.  They also had California peaches and nectarines at $2.99 lb which was $2.30 higher than the eastern peaches.  The California fruit was much larger.  Plums from California was priced at $2.49.  All these stone fruit items were displayed on the same table, along with apricots.  Grapes were from Mexico.  The quality and color was good but size was small.  White seedless grapes were priced 30 cents per lb more.
