The KJ store in Lake City  S.C. looked fantastic.  The department was full and fresh.  The strawberries were in the ad and displayed in 2 places in the department , both refrigerated.  The berries were extra large in size and quality was outstanding.  On the rack, blueberries were displayed with the strawberries.  Very fresh and very nice.  Grapes were from Chili, both red and white looked good.  Some grapes were in bags and other were in a tray and over wrapped.  I asked the Produce Merchandiser why was this.  His explanation was that at $3.99 a bag of grapes might be $8.00 plus and they wanted to offer the customers a smaller size package so they would just not leave the full bag at the register and miss a sale.  Did not see any summer stone fruit in the store as they are waiting for the California fruit to arrive.
