Some of the better quality NW cherries that I saw this week.  Size was very good, firm,  with green stems.  They were worth the $4.99 lb. Strawberries were in the ad.   Strawberries were in 2 locations in the department.  They were priced at 2/$5.00 just like raspberries.  This store had both Eastern and California peaches.  The California peaches were priced 70 cents higher than the South Carolina peaches.  Frankly they were not worth the difference as color, size, and quality were similar.  Nectarines and plums were displayed with the peaches.  Blueberries were displayed with the other berries.  Grapes from California really looked good.  All seedless grapes were priced the same.  Size has also improved.
