NW cherries were toward back of department.  Fruit size was medium and quality was just so so.  They had been moved off the table and to the refrigerated shelves with other summer fruit such as blueberries.  They had Canadian blueberries in the ad in 18 ounce clams and NC blueberries in smaller pint size for $2.99.  Food Lion stores are pushing Eastern/South Carolina peaches.  They were in the ad for .69 lb and size was comparable to the California Peaches for $1.99 lb.    Strawberries from California were large and very nice, displayed next to blueberries.  Nectarines and plums were from California, large in size with good color.  Both red seedless and white seedless grapes were from California and quality excellent as well as size.  Raspberries were displayed with the blueberries on the refrigerated shelf.
