Northwest cherries were in the ad on the front page.  They were displayed near the front of the department with Rainier cherries.  The Rainier cherries as in other stores probably should not have been on the shelf.  It is time for them to just get out and really check their back room stock.  Like many stores in the area they are pushing both watermelons and cantaloupes.  Another item they were promoting was South Carolina peaches.  Peaches looked great an also in the ad. Strawberries from California were displayed with blueberries from Canada.  Apricots, nectarines, and plums were all from California and displayed together.  Nectarines and plums looked great, but the apricots were tired and distressed.
