Store still had eastern peaches on display. Size was medium and quality fair at best. Fruit showed some shriveling. This store also had California peaches and nectarines. Size on both of these were large, but quality again was not the best. Stone fruit was not selling based on quality and price. The California peaches were priced at $3.99 lb and the nectarines were $2.99 lb. Strawberries were of good quality and displayed in front of department. Store also had other berries on sale and in the ad. Raspberries and blackberries were price at 3-6oz clams fir $5.00. On the same display were blueberries priced at $2.99 for a 6 oz clam. Both red seedless and white seedless California grapes were priced at $1.99 lb. Quality was outstanding and the berry size was very large. This will probably be my last price check in the area unless otherwise instructed. All stores including this one are starting to gear toward fall/winter items with bigger displays on apples, citrus, onions, potatoes, etc.
