Lowes had the lowest price by far on local Carolina peaches.  Medium size with great quality.  NW cherries only had 2 row facings.  It looks like just getting in product.  What was on display very fresh, high quality.  Prices much higher than in other stores visited.  Local grown blueberries in the ad.  Very fresh and well presented.  California plums and nectarines were displayed near the eastern peaches.  Quality on both were very good, but eastern peaches were outselling both nectarines and plums.  Strawberries were not up to snuff.  Could not tell where they were from, but do not believe they were from California.  Quality poor, poor sizing, and looked very tired.  Grapes were from Mexico, sizes were on the medium to small size, but fresh.  Raspberries from California were displayed with the Blueberries.  Large size and good quality.  Apricots from California very nice with great quality fruit and great color.
