Food Lion had NW cherries in the ad.  They were displayed in 2 locations, one in front of department and one in middle table.  The Middle was refrigerated.  Quality was outstanding.  Both red & black plums were in the ad.  Displayed on middle table, quality was very good.  North Carolina blueberries were also in the ad.  Berries were beautiful, big,plump and fresh.  Eastern peaches looked very nice with high color and firm.  Large in size and very fresh.  Store also had California peaches priced at $2.29 lb, and really not any nicer than the Eastern peaches.  California nectarines were in the ad as well.  Price was $1.49 lb for either white or yellow flesh product.  These were selling well as priced below peaches from both locations.  Red seedless grapes from Mexico were in the ad at $1.79 lb.  White seedless were priced at $3.99 lb.  Quality very nice, size on smaller side.  Strawberries good, not excellent but  displayed well.  Not selling as well as the rest of the summer items.  Also had apricots with good color, medium size, and fresh at $3.99 lb
